A record company that is not a simple label, but a true piece of jazz history: Blue Note Records turns eighty. Founded in New York in 1939 by two German immigrants - Alfred Lion and Francis Wollf - the record label owes its name to the well-known characteristics used in blues and jazz, genres, in which he wrote important chapters. On the occasion of this anniversary, G-Shock, the indestructible replica watch brand of Casio, launches a new collaboration model. A very rare piece: in fact, there will be only 15 specimens distributed in Italy, on sale today at the G-Shock monobrand store in Corso Como, Milan, at a price of 399 euros.
Made from the GST-B100 model, the new G-Shock Blue Note Records has a scratchy design in which black color predominates: both on the shockproof case (58.1x53.8 mm) and on the black IP ring. Blue details characteristic of the Blue Note Records label, on the other hand, on the dial while the case back has impressed the image of a vinyl record, with the Blue Note Records logo in the center replica watches. Tribute to the great record label, also the concept of packaging, equipped with a metal plate on which the logos of the maison and Blue Note Records are engraved.
As for technology, this watch is able to connect to the smartphone via Bluetooth with low energy consumption and regulate its many functions such as the dual time zone, the stopwatch (with partial times), the countdown timer, the alarm and time zone change based on over 300 cities.
